Okay, so this is my first time making a tutorial. It's for rulie and I hope it will help you when making your own walls.

Let's get to it. I'll be writing a tutorial for a wallpaper with Akanishi Jin from White Xmas PV. It's this one.
I use Photoshop 7 do make my graphic and resolution 1280x1024.

Step one:
Open a new document in Photoshop, with black background. The next thing is placing the pictures. Credits for the scans goes to pornvilai. Open the scans and place them somewhere. I placed them in the right corner.



Step two:
Now, choose Add layer mask, but make sure you're using it on the top picture (you can use on the second pic too but it would have to be on top, I'm doing it this way now because it will look better). Then click on Gradient Tool (or press G) and pull the cursor over the left part of the top picture (I hope I explained it well). It should look like mine. Then take eraser tool and erase the parts you don't want to be in the wallpaper, for example those white lines or so.



Step three:
Choose (Image>Flatten Image),then (Layer>Duplicate Layer) and open a gradient map. Just choose one color, it doesn't matter what color for now and set it to Color. Now open the gradient map again and choose the color you like. You can find gradients on graphic sites, for example on Marilyne's site, but make sure to give credits if you use any of her goodies.



Step four:
Now, let's get to textures. I always add textures under gradient map, be careful about that. Make sure to have gradient map on top. The main texture I'll be using is from this site and it's this one.



Step five:
Add some text and you're done.Hope this tutorial helped you in some way.
